Well hello...

and thanks for stumbling across my blog, sewing with patience.
My name is Kat and I've been toying with the idea of blogging about my adventures in dressmaking for a while, so here I am! I'm only new to sewing, I started in Febuary of this year! We all have to learn sometime, don't we?

Reading other people's blogs, especially Gertie's has given me so many ideas! I really enjoy wearing vintage inspired clothing, things nipped at the waist and big pouffy skirts. Plus all the florals fabrics out there, I just cant't seem to stay away from them. Maybe this should be called sewing with grandma. :p

One thing I've learned about myself while sewing is I don't have much patience, especially if I make a mistake! I can make the same mistake over and over again which is frustrating, but I really do enjoy sewing! I plan only to make dresses, vintage and  modern as I have enough tops and pants to last a life time. Hehe.
