I'm Kat who has moved from suburbia to a lovely country town about an hour outside of Melbourne, Victoria. I have a passion for floral fabrics, vintage style clothes, collecting vintage chintz china (Roaslynde by James Kent), reading and occasionally going to antique markets or fairs.
My husband and I have just bought our first house in May 2011. We are trying to restore the house back to its former glory as well as adding great charm, more space and lots of storage. Our garden is a jungle so in the coming months and years, I would like it to look different from the average garden, interesting, pretty and practical.
I started writing this blog over a year ago as I started sewing about 2 years ago, I have had a topsy curvy ride with sewing - I really enjoy it & find it satisfying, but it’s still a little over whelming sometimes especially with the lack of time. I take classes once a week to keep me motivated, and to get the help I need.
If you like lovely floral prints and dresses that remind you of a bygone era then you have found the right blog! Thanks for reading.
